Helmuth Naumer
1907-1989
Helmuth Naumer was born in Ruetlingen near the Black Forest in Germany. In 1925, Naumer immigrated to New York and from there moved west. Known for his New Mexico landscape paintings, he worked in pastel, watercolor and oil. The outstanding characteristic of Naumer's work is the authentic, exacting moods of his landscapes.
