This limited edition of Eanger Irving Couse: Image Maker for America is an exact reproduction, with minor corrections, of the 1991 catalog that accompanied a major retrospective of Couse's work at The Albuquerque Museum. The catalog was written by Couse's granddaughter and is based largely on original research in the artist's extensive archive. The Albuquerque Museum catalog contains a representative sample of his work, beginning with his student days in Paris through his years in New York, Washington state, and the thirty years he lived in Taos.
